The CRITERIA FOR MEMBERSHIP

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP

Organisational membership shall be open to any national bar association/organisation within the East African region

Any national organisation wishing to apply for organisational membership shall submit its application to the Company, in writing and addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, accompanied by:

(i) a copy of its constitution or other rules;
(ii) the names and addresses of its President, Senior and other Officers;
(iii) a certificate signed by the President of the applicant stating the number of the applicants own member; and
(iv) evidence of payment of the annual subscription for the current year.

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP

Individual Membership is open to any person with qualifications in law and a member of a respective national bar association.
(b) Any individual member of the legal profession may make a
written application for individual membership to the Company addressed to the Chief Executive Officer accompanied by the payment of the subscriptions for the current year. Each individual member shall pay such annual subscription to the Company as shall be determined by the Company.
